Alternative Education
The Alternative Education program is for high school students who are more successful in a non traditional school setting. The program focuses on small classroom instruction, expeditionary learning, real world curriculum and social emotional intelligence. Classes that are offered, but are not limited to: Adulting, Real World Math, Habits of Work, Lit-Blogging, Aquatic Studies, Cooking, and Career and College Prep. All courses meet the 21st Century Learning Framework, Common Core Standards, and incorporate Lisbon School based essential standards. Courses may change each Quarter.
