The Lisbon School Department is currently seeking a highly qualified K-8 certified teacher for sixth grade ELA/SS. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful history of teaching at the middle school level in ELA, Social Studies and/or using a humanities model. The preferred candidate will have experience with workshop model for instruction, a thorough understanding of the newest Maine Learning Results, the ability to collaborate within and among teams and with parents, experience with planning and implementing interventions within the MTSS model, the ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a supportive learning environment and the ability to organize, track and analyze data to inform instruction.
